A family of four in Acton wanted to make their Colonial into a place for entertaining, inside, and out. We added a Family Room with a painted T & G cathedral ceiling and a gas fireplace open to a remodeled eat-in Kitchen with framed inset cabinets and a walk-in pantry. A covered porch with Trex decking connects the kitchen and family room to a paved patio with firepit and outdoor TV. A formal dining room sits adjacent to the kitchen. The basement serves as a kid entertainment space with sectional, chalk board and ping pong and art tables. In the tiled mud room, accessible from the garage and back yard, built-ins and closets hide coats, boots, sports equipment and a washer and dryer.
