Connect to backyard

A Concord couple with teenagers wanted a bigger kitchen to hang out in and more connection to their back yard.  We bumped out the back of the house to expand the kitchen and created banquette seating.  A skylight over the island brings light deep into the space.  Large sliding glass doors at the dining room and kitchen lead to a new multi-level deck with bench seating, hot tub and outdoor shower. A new screen porch connects the living room to the deck and outdoors.
