The interior of the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery Building, built in 1800, was fully gutted, the post and beam structure reinforced, new insulation and finishes added and new mechanical and electrical systems installed. Siding, trim and roofing were replaced and windows rebuilt. A new accessible entry was added on the side of the building to preserve the historic street facade. The side yard was regraded and raised to accommodate accessible parking and to minimize the visual impact of the ramp. This project involved the Historic District Commission.
